California Association of REALTORS® Independent Expenditure Committee

California needs more homes. More housing means more opportunity — for working families, for first-time buyers, for the communities and local economies that depend on a healthy real estate market.

The California Association of REALTORS® Independent Expenditure Committee (CREIEC) exists to elect candidates who get that — leaders at every level of government who will fight to cut red tape, build more housing, and keep the California dream within reach.

What We Do

We identify and support candidates for local, state, and federal office who are committed to pro-housing, pro-homeownership policy. Candidates who understand that California's housing shortage isn't just a real estate problem — it's an economic crisis, a workforce crisis, and a quality-of-life crisis for millions of Californians.

Why It Matters

The decisions made in Sacramento, in city halls, and in county seats shape whether California builds enough homes to meet demand — or falls further behind. We make sure the right people are in those seats making those decisions.
